This body of work is rooted in contrast, yet it’s also about the transitions between those contrasts, just as in nature, where elements rarely exist in isolation. The pathway from rough to polished, from dark to luminous, can be bold and abrupt or gentle and gradual. We explore all of these moments, honoring the way they coexist.

With Poles Apart, we move from observation to transformation, inviting you to feel the work as much as to see it. Each piece carries the story of our family: the hands that craft, the memories that shape, and the belief that beauty lives in the tension between extremes.

Cast in bronze and coaxed into form, these objects seem to breathe. Textures carry memory; patinas shift like weather; edges catch light. Some surfaces transition smoothly from primitive to refined, like stone worn soft by time; others shift dramatically, evoking cliffs meeting the sea. These varied transitions, bold, subtle, and abrupt, are a central part of the collection’s language, allowing opposites to speak to each other and creating a dynamic dialogue within a single piece.

As artisans, we are always balancing weight and lightness, groundedness and ascent. Poles Apart embodies that balance. It’s a poetry of form, a family story cast in bronze.
